FAQ

Honest answers to the questions we get most

Is Stacular ready for production use?

We’re in early access. Pilot organizations use Stacular daily for mail, calendar, and organization management, and we operate it with production discipline — but the surface is still growing and rough edges exist. We’ll say clearly when we consider the platform generally available.

What does it cost?

During early access, pilots run on individual agreements. The planned model is freemium with per-seat tiers: a free tier for individuals and very small teams, paid tiers adding workplace features, and enterprise agreements for SSO, compliance tooling, and self-hosting. Nothing about the model relies on monetizing your data.

Where is my data hosted?

In the European Union, on infrastructure we operate ourselves. See Privacy & Security for the details on isolation and encryption.

Can I self-host Stacular?

Not yet, but the platform is built for it and a self-hosted enterprise option is on the roadmap. Designing for self-hosting also keeps our SaaS honest.

Can I migrate from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Stacular’s mail and calendar run on open standards (JMAP), which makes getting data in and out fundamentally tractable. Guided migration tooling is planned; during the pilot program we help teams migrate hands-on.

Can I use my own mail client?

Yes. Your mailbox is a real, standards-compliant account on our mail backbone, and standard clients can connect alongside the Stacular apps. See Mail & Calendar.

How do I get access?

Request early access and tell us about your team. We onboard pilots personally.
